We are seeking a talented individual to join our Aviation Claims Advocacy team at Marsh. This role can be based out of either our London or Norwich. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

The Aviation & Aerospace Specialty Practice combines a deep understanding of our clients and their industries with unparalleled product knowledge, market access and experience in specialty insurance. Product Lines Teams include General Aviation, Aerospace, Airlines and Accident & Health.

  • Exposure to a wide range of stakeholders and third parties to include Lawyers, Loss Adjusters, Underwriters, and Insurance companies.
  • Full training and support will be provided by a highly experienced and welcoming team.
  • The successful candidate will develop long‑term expertise within a highly specialised and interesting area of Insurance (ranging from major losses to slips & falls), with the view to eventually managing claims for complex global insurance contracts involving multiple insurers.

We will rely on you to

  • Participate in routine discussions and correspondence with clients, on claim calculations or coverage to build strong client relationships.
  • Monitor insurer response and gather supporting documentation for senior colleagues in order to engage with insurers and their professional advisers.
  • Identify appropriate policies and/or coverages and analyse/consider notification against same to support more claims process.
  • Analyse loss statistics, identify trends, and claims cost reduction opportunities, to support improvements in claims process.
  • Provide support to senior team members through research, document creation (proposals, reports, presentations), and scheduling in order to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What you need to have

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent, or Level 3 (A-Level, T-Level or BTEC).
  • Good written, presentation & verbal communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and general administrative & organisational skills.
  • Good numeracy skills to work with claims calculations.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to work off your own initiative.
  • Enthusiasm and engagement in your own learning & development and in growing professionally.
  • Good IT skills with confidence to develop skills in new systems and applications quickly.
  • The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine desire to build a long‑term career within the Insurance industry.
