We have an exciting opportunity to join Marsh’s Digital Client Experience (DCX) team in the UK. Marsh’s Digital Client Experience (DCX) team is a fast-moving product organisation that helps Marsh teams take ideas from opportunity to outcome. DCX blends design, product strategy and lean delivery to accelerate the creation of new digital products and bring clarity to early-stage opportunities. As part of the design discipline, you will help define intuitive, client‑focused experiences and contribute to a consistent design language across the Marsh portfolio. The position is based out of our London office. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least 3 days a week in the office.
Working in a studio-model environment, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and SMEs to rapidly explore, prototype and validate ideas. This includes using AI‑assisted design and prototyping tools (such as Figma Make, Lovable and v0) to accelerate concepting, producing high‑quality prototypes at pace and shaping products as they move from discovery into MVP and scaled delivery. You’ll help teams test assumptions, de‑risk complexity and deliver experiences that balance client value, business impact and technical feasibility. Within DCX, you’ll work as part of a tight, collaborative design team operating in a genuinely agile, product‑led environment. You’ll have access to senior decision‑makers, the freedom to experiment and a culture that supports continuous learning, rapid prototyping and purposeful delivery.
Designers in DCX collaborate deeply with product and engineering from day one, shaping the problem as much as the solution. We work in a studio‑model environment with rapid cycles of discovery, prototyping and testing. We share work early, invite critique and make evidence‑based decisions. You’ll help lead these rhythms, supporting momentum and clarity across the team.
We will rely on you to:
- Own the design of features and end‑to‑end journeys across complex digital products
- Translate research insights, data and requirements into intuitive, high‑quality experiences
- Lead rapid prototyping and concept exploration using AI‑assisted tools
- Plan and conduct usability testing activities and synthesise insights for iteration
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and SMEs to shape scope and feasibility
- Contribute to the evolution of design systems, shared patterns and reusable components
- Create high‑fidelity prototypes and specifications to support delivery
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to drive shared understanding
- Present design decisions clearly to stakeholders and influence strategic discussions
- Support experimentation and optimisation efforts across onboarding, engagement and renewal journeys
- Contribute to design culture and support junior designers through feedback and mentoring
What you need to have:
- 3–5+ years of professional experience working on digital products in UX/UI roles
- Evidence of end‑to‑end ownership of features or journeys
- Experience conducting or synthesising user research and usability testing
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers during implementation
- Experience contributing to design systems or component libraries
- Portfolio demonstrating clear reasoning, strong visual craft and measurable impact
What makes you stand out:
- A desire to learn and develop new skills and areas of expertise.
- Ability to work on your initiative.
- A mind‑set to seek continuous improvement.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required.
