Marsh is seeking a talented individual to join the Placement Plus team in Manchester or London as part of the Marsh Portfolio Solutions (MPS) business. This hybrid position requires a minimum of three days per week in the office and offers the opportunity to contribute to and drive the delivery of contracted services to Insurer Partners, whilst collaborating with colleagues across MPS and the wider business.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. They will be confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to stakeholder needs. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a professional approach are essential, alongside a willingness to learn and develop within a dynamic team environment.

Experience within a broker or insurance environment would be advantageous, particularly where exposure to commercial or general lines insurance has been gained.

We will count on you to:

  • Lead on the creation of our analytical reports for specific Portfolio Solutions
  • Ensure accuracy of the data and keeping within our Key Performance Indicators for quality, accuracy and timeliness
  • Respond to queries within agreed appropriate time frames from both internal and external stakeholders
  • Implement validation & reconciliation exercises with the data produced.
  • Produce ad hoc reports or data enrichment tasks as required
  • Attend regular Insurer Partner meetings
  • Assist with maintenance and upkeep of the team’s intranet pages.
  • Other tasks as directed.

What you need to have:

  • Ideally prior experience working at a broker or insurance company dealing with commercial and/or general lines insurances
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Competent on Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
  • Good attention to detail
  • Articulate and confident self-starter with an analytical mind-set.

  • Prior experience within a product supply/carrier management capacity
  • Experience utilising the ET2 trading system would be beneficial (training will be provided)
  • Basic Acturis platform knowledge (training can also be provided).
