We have an exciting opportunity within the UK Product Team for the role of Product Owner overseeing the ET2 application. As the ET2 Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high‑quality software solutions. Your primary responsibility is to define and prioritise system features, create and manage the product backlog, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to drive the development of cutting‑edge systems that meet user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business goals and user needs.
  • Create and manage the product backlog, prioritising user stories, features, and technical tasks in collaboration with development teams.
  • Gather and analyse system requirements from stakeholders to ensure comprehensive understanding of project scope and objectives.
  • Define detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with developers, designers, testers and other team members to ensure shared understanding and smooth delivery.
  • Plan and coordinate releases, monitor progress and support user acceptance testing to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Continuously gather feedback to refine the product backlog and improve the product offering.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with ET and UK Corporate processes.
  • Experience with Digital Trading in the Insurance industry.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate results.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
