We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Valuations Surveyor to join our Marsh Advisory team. This role could be based anywhere within England or Scotland as long as commutable to a local Marsh office when required.

What you can expect

This role offers the chance to work on independent reinstatement valuations and large-scale portfolio assessments across the UK, providing invaluable experience in a dynamic environment. This is the perfect role for either someone with a demonstrable background in Property Valuations/Surveying or possibly someone recently/newly qualified with a related degree or experience looking to join an established, market leading insurance broker. The position requires a valid driver’s license, an interest in property and valuation processes, and the willingness to travel across the UK.

We will rely on you to:

  • Undertake independent on-site valuations
  • Assist with valuation of large property portfolios
  • Undertake desk-top valuations
  • Assist with mass housing portfolio valuations
  • Produce reports to a professional standard

What you need to have:

  • Knowledge of valuation principles
  • Strong report-writing skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail, even whilst working under pressure
  • High level of accuracy and consistency
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications especially Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to build, manage and develop relationships
