Join Marsh in our Bristol office as a Client Executive Leader, where you’ll primarily focus on leading and developing a high‑performing team while staying strategically engaged with our biggest and most important corporate clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and inspire a team of Client Executives, setting clear standards and a high‑performance culture that delivers exceptional client outcomes, retention and profitable growth.
- Provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of large, complex corporate clients, acting as an executive sponsor on key relationships and ensuring rigorous, proactive service delivery across the team.
- Lead insurance programme design and renewal strategy, producing budgets and proposals, shaping placement strategy and negotiating fees and engagement terms.
- Drive senior client engagement—planning and leading meetings with clients and insurers alongside specialist brokers and service teams, including presentations to boards and risk committees where required.
- Play an active role on the Bristol Leadership Team, helping deliver our South West growth strategy and strengthening Marsh’s position as the leading risk advisor in the region.
Qualifications
- Strong people leadership capability (formal line management experience preferred), with a track record of building team performance and service discipline.
- Demonstrable experience servicing and advising large corporate clients (ideally complex and/or multinational), with evidence of strong client retention and relationship growth.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability—able to translate complex risk issues into clear, commercial recommendations.
- ACII part or fully qualified (or equivalent), with a commitment to continuous professional development.
