Position Overview

A Marsh Client Executive leads a multi-disciplined client team to deliver all aspects of insurance and risk management support to our clients and prospective clients.

The successful candidate will be a team player and work closely with clients to manage their service requirements, insurance needs and insurer relationships.

The successful candidate will be a team player and work closely with clients to manage their service requirements, insurance needs and insurer relationships.

You will build and maintain strong relationships with your clients and Marsh colleagues to consistently deliver first class broking and risk management support to your clients.

You will manage projects, help teammates thrive and collaborate with stakeholders across the company.

We will rely on you to

  • Act as lead advisory colleague on medium-sized accounts or moderately complex accounts.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the client’s business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to provide advice accordingly to client.
  • Utilize substantial risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance marketplace to review clients exposures and loss experience to develop solutions for moderately complex client’s needs, including recommending additional products and services as solutions.
  • Present, develop and execute renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with Placement, Advisory Leaders and Client Executives.
  • Partner with Placement to receive, negotiate and evaluate quotes from carriers and presents the evaluations to clients.

Participate in presentations to prospective clients, identify the need for new products and develops/suggests innovative solutions to client and client team members to gain new clients and projects.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and are the primary point of contact to service more complex client needs.
  • Coordinate the production of client deliverables, including monitoring delivery and invoicing to ensure the quality of materials delivered to the client.
  • Possesses an in-depth knowledge of changing market conditions to contribute to the firm’s body of knowledge within product line through active internal communication.

What you need to have

  • Experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a Client Executive / Account Executive role or alternatively as an experienced Client Broker/Handler looking to move into a new sales role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
  • Fully Competent in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
