In this role, you will be responsible for leading Dexters’ total reward strategy to ensure that pay, incentives, and benefits support business performance, attract top talent, and retain colleagues, while remaining competitive in the market. The role oversees the annual reward cycle, reward governance and benefits strategy while ensuring a 6-star service is provided for our colleagues.
Location: South West London
Hours: Full-time in office, Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 5.30 pm
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Lead Dexters total reward strategy, aligning pay, incentives and benefits with business and performance goals
- Own and deliver the annual reward calendar, including salary reviews, bonus planning, commission structures, share scheme and benefits renewals
- Design and maintain salary frameworks, job banding, job evaluation and benchmarking structures to ensure fair and competitive pay
- Oversee bonus and commission schemes, supporting the Group Managing Directors, ensuring they drive performance and align with commercial objectives
- Manage and govern employee share schemes, working with Finance, Legal and external advisers
- Lead the Dexters benefits strategy, including negotiation and management of the colleague benefit platform, and insured benefits such as private medical insurance and life assurance
- Negotiate with benefits brokers and insurers to secure competitive coverage and manage costs effectively
- Oversee the company pension schemes and ensure compliance with auto-enrolment requirements
- Ensure reward practices, guarantees, and commission draws comply with National Minimum Wage legislation and relevant UK reward regulations
- Provide reward analytics and market insight to the Operations Board to support strategic decision-making
- Gender pay gap reporting, strategy and RemCo support and pay transparency
- Provide annual reporting on total colleague rewards
Expertise and Experience
- Significant leadership experience in reward, compensation and benefits in a fast-paced multi-site environment
- Strong knowledge of UK reward regulation, including National Minimum Wage and pensions
- Experience managing share schemes, bonus and commission structures, and insured benefits
- Strong commercial and analytical capability with experience advising senior stakeholders
- Reward communication and delivery standards
