Main purpose of the Role

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of service charge accounting and the associated legislation. They must also have a proven ability to work on their own initiative, excellent organisational skills and a pro-active approach to their daily tasks and be expected to develop the role as the business grows.

Salary: £35,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities

  • Issuing of demands for service charges and ground rents
  • Entering and maintaining annual budgets for service charges
  • Chasing arrears and liaising with solicitors for legal action
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Invoice entry and contractor payments
  • Preparation of year end summaries for accountants
  • Confirmation statements and stock transfers
  • Collection and monitoring of management and administration fees
  • Supporting the block managers day to day admin
  • Issuing consultation notices and collating observations
  • Full TPI training will be provided to the right candidate
