Location: Hybrid: One day a week in our Shoreditch tech office. We are building the most advanced proptech platform in London, powering one of the city’s largest and most successful estate agencies. As part of our world‑class engineering team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality, scalable products used by customers and internal teams every day. We’re looking for a talented Front End Software Engineer to design and implement new features, improve user experience, and collaborate across disciplines to shape our evolving product suite. You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to bring ideas to life using modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver high-quality front end solutions.
  • Develop scalable, modular, and reusable UI components using Vue.js 3.
  • Collaborate across teams: work with product managers, designers, and backend developers to ensure smooth delivery of new features.
  • Support team growth: assist colleagues by reviewing code, offering feedback, and sharing best practices.
  • Maintain technical excellence: write clean, secure, and maintainable JavaScript code following SOLID principles.
  • Champion UI/UX consistency: work with Figma (or similar tools) to turn designs into responsive, accessible front end experiences.
  • Improve development workflows: use version control, automated testing, and modern tooling to ensure efficient delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Vue.js 3 and component-driven architecture.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with source control systems (Git preferred).
  • Understanding of the front end SDLC and how to deliver high-quality software at scale.
  • Proven ability to break down and understand complex requirements.
  • Experience writing automated tests for front end code.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Figma or similar design tools.
  • Exposure to Storybook and TailwindCSS (or similar CSS frameworks).
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and Docker.
  • Passion for clean, scalable code and continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
