We are seeking a talented individual to join our Finance Transformation team at Marsh.

This role will be based in London.

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

  • This role is Fixed Term Contract until Dec 2027 with possible extension.
  • This is an exciting opportunity where you will be part of a team that is shaping the future of the Finance function and Marsh
  • Successful candidate will become part of a dynamic team that works in a fast-paced environment dealing with major transformational programs and supporting Executive leadership in strategy development
  • You will support existing global and/or regional PMO activities.
  • You will be seen as an expert in transitions globally by stakeholders from different businesses and work closely with teams involved in transformational projects
  • The Finance Transformation team is small and diverse with a mix of colleagues with long tenure as well as more recent hires, all with solid experience of transformation programs
  • This is a key role in executing MMC Finance strategic objectives

We will count on you to

  • Manage highly complex, broad, and/or multi-year projects end-to-end to deliver business outcomes, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to a high level
  • Develop detailed, robust, high-quality project plans including resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions, dependencies, etc. for large scale, complex projects.
  • Negotiate resource requirements with responsible management when faced with conflicts in priorities.
  • Lead in the exploration of intricate solutions to highly complex business requirements for project.
  • Apply expert knowledge to develop project plans for large process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain the PMO Methodology and Lifecycle Processes.
  • Lead decision-making processes required to move projects along to completion
  • Lead cross-business unit projects and program work streams and work closely with the business leader/s
  • Present feedback and trend analyses to senior management, as well as early warning indicators regarding at exposure possibilities.
  • Proactively respond to new project needs or changes in scope and identifies and resolves issues, assesses the work plan direction versus the new input demands, and implement a change control process
  • Identify project risk items during all phases to address issues, responses, recommendations and future changes during post-implementation lessons learned phase.
  • Identify, implement and ensure that consistent standards of delivery excellence are disseminated, leveraged, and continuously improved across the organization.

What you need to have

  • Significant experience in leading end-to-end process migrations & other transitions, program management and change management, within a large, complex organization, ideally within finance.
  • Strong project management skills and proven track record of delivering to deadlines.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders and cultures.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and coaching skills
  • Flexibility to work in shifts if needed.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Advanced Excel and Power Point
  • You will be a self-starter with exceptional leadership capabilities
  • Senior stakeholder and leadership team management with the ability to influence
  • Previous proven global programme management experience.
