Marsh Commercial, the leading insurance broker in the UK, is seeking a Trainee Insurance Client Manager to support our Private Clients team. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in insurance with a company that values diversity and client satisfaction. This role will be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh and is a hybrid working role that requires at least four days per week in the office.
The role involves:
- Handling both new and existing customer enquiries on behalf of the Account Executives.
- Managing administrative processes for new business, mid-term adjustments, and renewals.
- Ensuring prompt and efficient handling of client requests in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Building relationships with insurers to secure the best terms and pricing for clients.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all client interactions and policy details.
What you need to have:
- Previous experience in a client/customer-facing role (e.g., retail, hospitality, food & beverage).
- Strong literacy, numeracy, administration, and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software.
