We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh Commercial. This role will be based in the Worcester office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least 3 days a week in the office.
We have an exciting opportunity here at Marsh Commercial, as we’re looking to recruit a Client Advisor to join us in our Marsh Commercial Advisory Team. Within your role you’ll be responsible for servicing both new and existing clients with a range of commercial insurance products.
For this role we are happy to consider those with either personal lines, private clients or commercial insurance experience whether that be as an existing Account Handler or even a Claims Handler or Underwriter looking to move into an Account Handler role. If successful you’ll be provided with a first-class induction, as well as be given the opportunity to attain chartered insurance qualifications.
Once you have received initial training and support, you will be responsible for servicing a dedicated portfolio of clients, this can involve managing renewals, invoicing, producing new quotes, upselling/cross selling additional products whilst handling any additional queries that are presented.
We will rely on you to:
- Support Marsh Client Executives regarding placement strategy for insurance renewals and administer mid-term changes to risk.
- Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
- Manage all day-to-day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments for a number of our larger accounts.
- Request and review underwriting information on behalf of Commercial clients and understand their requirements.
- Utilise Marsh online trading systems to collate and negotiate renewal terms with existing and prospective insurers.
- Collaborate with Client Executives and Placement Teams to prepare client reports for renewals.
- Produce and/or request Insurer documentation.
What you need to have:
- Demonstrable experience within insurance, this can be from either personal lines or within commercial insurance.
- Strong literacy, numeracy, administration and communication skills that can be demonstrated via qualifications/grades gained during education.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
- Have experience utilising the Microsoft Office suite and similar products.
