The Head of Financial Lines is a senior leadership position within Victor UK responsible for shaping, governing and driving the strategy for the UK Financial Lines Underwriting Practice. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We are looking for an experienced underwriting leader with the vision to step in and drive this profitable and rapidly growing Practice to the next level. As Head of Financial Lines, you will lead the development and management of our Financial Lines insurance portfolio. You will oversee underwriting and product strategy within the UK MGA, working closely with brokers, carriers, and internal teams to drive growth and profitability.
We will count on you to:
- Lead the financial lines underwriting team to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement underwriting strategies and product offerings tailored to market needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and carriers.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the financial lines portfolio.
What you need to have:
- Extensive experience in financial lines underwriting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Established broker relationships and presence in the UK market.
- Deep knowledge of UK insurance market regulations and practices.
- Proven track record of developing and growing financial lines products.
