Business Development Manager - MPS – Fundhouse (Nationwide)

Fundhouse is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Business Development team in support of our growing Model Portfolio Service (MPS). Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the successful candidate will act as a key point of contact and maintain and service relationships with new and existing clients, delivering an industry-leading, high-touch service. You will also acquire, develop, and manage relationships with new prospects to support the growth of our MPS offering.

The role also involves frequent travel to meet clients and host events, therefore, access to a car/driving license is essential

We will count on you to:

  • Identify and reach out to potential clients, responding to inbound leads, arranging introductions, hosting meetings and ensuring timely follow-up to progress opportunities through to conversion

  • Collaborate or lead on business development webinars and regional events

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Fundhouse’s services, investment solutions, and market views

  • Host virtual and in-person meetings (with support from the Investment Management team as needed)

  • Demonstrate market knowledge and an understanding of asset allocation, fund research and portfolio construction

  • Prepare and update presentation decks, RFPs, brochures, proposals, and articles - tailored to client needs and market demand

  • Participate in project-based initiatives and internal MPS forums focused on enhancing client experience and business development

  • Focus on problem-solving and delivering practical solutions

  • Prior experience working with financial advisers and MPS clients

  • Experience of relationship management, prospecting, and service delivery

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of markets and portfolios, with an interest in staying informed on current team perspectives and broader market developments

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to engage confidently with a diverse range of clients

  • Driven, client-focused, ambitious and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

  • Brand and values alignment, with a desire to positively impact clients’ lives and act as an ambassador for Fundhouse

  • Attention to detail and the ability to clearly articulate investment views in a way that resonates with clients
