We are looking for a talented professional to join our Aviation Account Management team at Guy Carpenter, based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working in the insurance or reinsurance sector who is eager to broaden their expertise and contribute to one of the world’s leading reinsurance firms. In this role, you will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional and efficient service to our Aviation clients. You will play a key role in managing the renewal process while proactively identifying new opportunities to grow and enhance our existing business.
You will be part of a highly experienced team, working alongside our broking, analytics and broker support teams to drive success.
We will count on you to:
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Coordinate placement support activities and ensure smooth delivery of services throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Support clients through the renewal process, identifying opportunities to expand and enhance client portfolios.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as analytics, service, and broking to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
What you need to have:
- Experience working within the (Re)insurance aviation sector, with exposure to reinsurance treaty structures and processes.
- If you have a background in insurance, we are ideally looking for solid knowledge of reinsurance principles, particularly in Aviation. This includes a strong understanding of both Proportional and Non-Proportional Excess of Loss (XOL) treaties or the ability to quickly develop this expertise.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritise competing demands effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, compliance, and client communications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong client and internal stakeholder relationships.
