We are seeking a talented individual to join Marsh as a Training Development Specialist. For this hybrid working role, we can consider applicants to be based out of one of the following office locations: Bristol, Worcester, Witham, Egham, Plymouth, Cardiff, Exeter, Leeds, Glasgow or Dundee.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training that enhances employee skills and knowledge. This role requires a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
Within this role, the successful candidate will be part of our Colleague Experience team who provide training and development for our Enterprise colleagues across the UK.
We will rely on you to:
- Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for employees, utilising various instructional techniques and formats (e.g., in-person, virtual, blended learning).
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop training materials and presentations.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics; make recommendations for improvements.
- Participant Support: Provide ongoing support to participants, addressing questions and concerns related to training content and application.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development; incorporate new methodologies into training programs.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and feedback.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Team Managers, Heads of office and Regional Directors to identify training needs and align programs with organisational goals and succession planning.
What you need to have:
- Proven experience in training delivery, instructional design, or a similar role.
- First-class presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
