Are you looking to take the next step in your insurance career with a market-leading broker? We have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Marsh Commercial team as a Senior Client Advisor, based in either Skipton or Harrogate.

This role is ideal for an experienced insurance professional with a strong background in commercial client servicing, renewals, and placement support. You will play a key role in supporting Client and Account Executives, helping to shape placement strategy, manage mid-term adjustments, and deliver an outstanding level of service to a diverse portfolio of commercial clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Support Client Executives with placement strategy for insurance renewals and mid-term changes to risk
  • Request, review, and interpret underwriting information on behalf of commercial clients
  • Prepare and submit accurate market presentations and slips in collaboration with Client Executives and the Placement Team
  • Use Marsh online trading systems to collate and negotiate renewal terms with existing and prospective insurers
  • Work closely with internal teams to prepare client reports for renewals
  • Produce and/or request insurer documentation as required
  • Review and comment on indemnity and insurance clauses
  • Act as a senior point of contact for more complex queries, offering support and guidance where appropriate
  • Contribute to a high-performing, client-focused culture and support the development of colleagues where needed

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience managing the full renewal process for commercial insurance programmes
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good awareness of clients’ businesses, insurance requirements, and service expectations
  • Experience handling more complex client needs and supporting technical or service-related queries
