We are seeking a talented individual to join our Personal Lines team at Marsh Commercial. This role will be based in Egham and is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

We have an exciting opportunity here at Marsh Commercial as we are looking to recruit a Client Advisor to join us in one of our specialist teams. Within your role, you’ll be responsible for servicing both new and existing clients with a range of personal lines insurance products. We are happy to consider those with a background within customer service or a similar industry who are looking for a change in career. If successful, you’ll be provided with a first-class induction and the opportunity to attain chartered insurance qualifications.

Once you have received initial training and support, you will be responsible for servicing a dedicated portfolio of clients. This can involve managing renewals, invoicing, producing new quotes, upselling/cross-selling additional products, and handling any additional queries that are presented.

We will rely on you to:

  • Provide excellent client service on all aspects of account management to our clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
  • Ensure timely completion of all set tasks ensuring client satisfaction at all times.
  • Demonstrate your adaptability skills when required in order to support colleagues in completing business critical tasks.
  • Develop meaningful working relationships with our insurer partners through regular contact and liaison to better serve our clients.
  • Through training, coaching and mentoring, have a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance that we offer our clients and keep abreast of new technical and product developments.

What you need to have:

  • Ideally, you’ll have a background within customer service administration or a similar experience.
  • Strong literacy, numeracy, administration and communication skills that can be demonstrated via qualifications/grades gained during education.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
  • Experience utilising the Microsoft Office suite and similar products.
