We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy and Power team at Marsh. This role will be based in London or Norwich. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This role is within our Energy and Power practice, a dynamic and fast-paced area of the Marsh Specialty business. The role will provide the successful candidate with stimulating opportunities to be involved in some of the largest accounts in the Europe and CIS region.

We are looking for an individual with an energy insurance background to lead client engagement, market initiative and drive growth in the region.

We will count on you to:

  • Analyse risks and provide solutions for clients' needs including coordinating client renewals and placements, developing strategies to meet our client needs, building and developing strong relationships in the region, and responsibilities for team initiatives and growth.
  • Respond to client day-to-day queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly to develop strong client relationships.
  • Assemble and deliver renewal strategies for clients, coordinating with the wider Energy and Power team.
  • Demonstrate awareness of market conditions to provide informed advice to clients including conducting market negotiations.
  • Drive team initiatives in the Europe and CIS region including travel to the region.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurance/reinsurance markets to efficiently communicate client demands and requests internally.
  • Work on and deliver presentations and tender reports for clients and prospects.

What you need to have:

  • Experience of managing a portfolio of corporate client accounts.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills including demonstrable proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint essential.
  • Confident to work on own initiative as well as part of a dynamic, diverse and international fast-paced team.
