We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Claims Team. This role will be based in the Bristol office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of predominantly Property & Liability Claims, ensuring service delivery remains aligned to client expectations. You will handle matters in an efficient and professional manner, while maintaining clear and consistent communication with all relevant stakeholders throughout the claims process.

This role would suit a Claims Handler with experience in Property & Liability or Commercial Claims who is looking to further develop their career with a global leader in insurance. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication and stakeholder management skills, together with a proactive, organised, and professional approach to delivering excellent client service.

We will rely on you to:

  • Proactively manage an allocated caseload.
  • Ensure all Client requests and queries are dealt with promptly and accurately.
  • Gather all relevant claims information & documentation.
  • Provide claims advice to clients managing expectations and ensuring that they are kept informed and advised of all necessary developments.
  • Action all new claims & report to the relevant insurers within applicable SLA’s & KPI’s.
  • Effectively communicate with all key stakeholders attending internal meetings representing claims.
  • Build and manage effective internal and external relationships with all involved parties.
  • Ensure all files are maintained and data capture accurate and up to date.
  • Produce claims reports as required.
  • Ensure all regulatory process requirements are adhered to.
  • Process DA claims in accordance with scheme requirements.
  • Ensure claims are accurately reserved.

  • Property & Liability claims experience preferred, other Commercial experience considered.
  • Effective communication & negotiation skills.
  • Problem solving and open mindset.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships.
  • Agility for working in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload.
