We are recruiting three Insurance Business Development Managers (BDMs) to grow Marsh's SME commercial segment in Witham, Egham and Worcester. This is a hybrid role requiring you to work at least four days a week on the road or in the office.

Each BDM will focus on direct-to-client acquisition and the fast repeatable placement of commercial risks with premiums between £5,000 and £20,000. The role prioritises Commercial Combined Contractors and general commercial product lines requiring strong prospecting, quoting and disciplined pipeline management.

We will count on you to:

  • New business generation: Proactively source, qualify and convert direct client opportunities within the £5,000-£20,000 premium band.
  • Velocity & conversion: Drive fast sales cycle times through disciplined qualification, quoting and follow-up to improve conversion rates.
  • Handover & early retention: Deliver a clear handover to servicing.
