Mercer, a part of Marsh McLennan (MMC), is seeking a Senior Technology Product Manager to help drive the strategic direction of technology initiatives across Europe. Reporting directly to the Technology Delivery Leader for Europe, this role involves close collaboration with business and technology leaders throughout the region to achieve our strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in Wealth and Health administration, along with proven experience leading technology teams and working effectively across diverse IT functions.
We will count on you to:
- Drive a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with Mercer's Europe business goals, considering current capabilities and future technology needs.
- Collaborate with business, technology and product leaders to translate business goals into a strategic vision and roadmap for the required technology solutions.
- Provide strategic leadership for technology teams within the Europe portfolio, partnering with delivery leaders to oversee project implementation.
- Provide oversight to ensure that our technology solutions and roadmap is aligned with MMC Tech's overarching strategic technology objectives.
- Appropriately manage technology risk and develop plans to address the challenges presented by legacy technology.
- Support MMC's security posture by proactively managing & addressing any emerging vulnerabilities within our application landscape.
- Facilitate communication and reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders on project status, risks, and key decisions.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including operations, legal, finance and HR.
- Prior experience in a consulting firm, investment bank, pensions administrator or corporate development function is a plus.
