Pensions Investment Consultant - flexible working in London

Mercer is seeking a DC Pensions Consultant to join our specialist team in the delivery of DC pension services to a large portfolio of clients. Mercer has one of the largest fully integrated groups of DC experts in the UK (including governance, scheme design, investment consultants, provider and technical researchers and technicians).

This exciting growth area of Mercer’s UK business is a key strategic focus and delivers both successful pension and savings solutions for clients and career opportunities for our talented colleagues. This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to work at least three days per week in the office, offering the opportunity to collaborate closely with a highly experienced and supportive team while also benefiting from flexible working.

• Serve as a lead investment consultant on mid-size to large clients delivering and promoting our services
• Provide support to lead consultant on our largest and more complex clients
• Review work produced by analysts and junior consultants using Mercer software/tools
• Role may include wider client relationship management for some clients
• Manage budgets and commercial relationships with clients
• Provide support and advise internal Mercer teams regarding defined contribution investments
• Have responsibility for proactive revenue generation of existing clients and aim to extend the range of services provided by other lines of business as appropriate

What you need to have:

• Proven DC Pensions consulting experience
• Ability to develop excellent working relationships with colleagues, clients and provider contacts at all levels
• Client relationship management
• CFA or studying towards CFA
