Mercer Marsh Benefits™ have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Junior Business Support Executive. This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to work in the London office 3 days per week. This role sits within the MMB Multinational Team, which works with our global clients to provide oversight and management of insured employee benefits ensuring global visibility and control, cost management and governance.
As a Business Support Executive, you will play a critical role by providing dedicated ongoing support to a team of consultants.
We Will Count On You To:- Provide diary management support and organisation for senior colleagues, including scheduling calls & arranging meetings across various time-zones.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to colleagues as required e.g. creating/editing documents, expenses, end-to-end travel.
- Manage design input as needed for optimal presentation of materials ensuring they are produced using the latest Mercer templates.
- Support business development and associated administration e.g. MPower, our Client Relationship Management System.
- Support the business with financial management activities as required e.g. helping with complex code set up and to understand our billing processes in order to assist with consultant queries and other ad hoc requests.
- Volunteer for opportunities to work on new projects.
- Provide on the day in person support for client meetings including meeting/greeting guests, escorting to/from rooms, ensuring guest wifi access, refreshments are provided when needed and other on the day support as may be needed.
- Support internal and external events including working with marketing and facilities to ensure these run successfully.
- Excellent communication, analytical, organisational, planning and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented and creative mindset within a team environment.
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, online survey tools and other applications.
- Inquisitive with a willingness to learn new skills/applications (as required).
- Comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders with different seniorities / geographies / languages.
- Prior experience in a business support-type role, although this is not essential.
