Investment Analyst in London

Overview

As an Investment Analyst in the LDI Portfolio Management Team, you will support day-to-day analytics, reporting, and tooling to monitor client portfolios. You will contribute to data quality, governance, and efficiency gains within the in-house asset management function. This is a strong entry point into investment management with potential to grow into a Portfolio Manager role. You will work closely with cross-functional colleagues to deliver timely insights and robust portfolio oversight.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day analytical and operational tasks for the LDI Portfolio Management team
• Produce accurate portfolio analytics, reporting packs, and management information
• Develop, maintain, and enhance tooling and reporting solutions
• Assist with data extraction, validation, and reconciliation across systems
• Monitor portfolio performance, exposures, and risk metrics; contribute to portfolio reviews and governance materials

Key requirements

• Degree in finance, mathematics, economics, engineering, data science, or related discipline
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Strong Excel skills with data, reporting, and analytics tooling
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate with stakeholders
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or recent graduate; progressing toward CFA/Actuarial qualifications
