Overview
In this role you will support human capital due diligence and integration across M&A deals for Corporate and Private Equity clients. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to assess people risks, shape post-close plans, and drive value through people-focused transaction work. The opportunity combines analytical insight with project delivery in a collaborative, client-facing environment. You will help build credible, data-driven recommendations and contribute to Day 1 readiness and long‑term integration outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Support delivery of M&A Advisory assignments across the deal lifecycle, including due diligence, Day 1 readiness, and post-close integration
- Analyse organisational, talent, rewards, culture, and HR operating model issues arising from transactions
- Contribute to client deliverables, presentations, reports, and recommendations
- Help identify key people risks and value levers linked to the deal thesis
- Coordinate workstreams and track project milestones with Principal consultants and client teams
- Assist in designing integration plans, retention strategies, communications, and change activities
- Gather, synthesize, and interpret data to inform client recommendations
- Support proposals, pitch materials, and internal knowledge sharing
- Build strong relationships with clients and Marsh colleagues
- Maintain high standards of quality, confidentiality, and professional judgment
- Take ownership of defined workstreams and deliverables with independent prioritization
- Support business development and mentorship of junior colleagues
- Deliver accurate, insightful work across multiple M&A engagements and support Day 1 execution
- Develop into a well-rounded M&A advisory consultant with strong commercial and client skills
Key requirements
- Significant experience in consulting, HR advisory, transaction services, organisational change, or related people-focused advisory role
- Strong interest in mergers, acquisitions, and transformation
- Ability to analyse information quickly and turn findings into practical recommendations
- Strong communication and presentation skills with client and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute across multiple workstreams
