comWe are seeking a talented individual to join our Global Benefits Management team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. The successful candidate for this role will be based in either Bristol or London on a hybrid basis, with a requirement to work 3 days per week in the office.Global Benefits Management (GBM) allows multinational organisations to manage their insured employee benefits around the world more effectively. The Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) global GBM solution delivers everything clients need when it comes to local broking renewals, global co-ordination, technology, governance and consulting.Account ManagerAs an Account Manager, you will manage the global relationship of a portfolio of 4-6 clients, ensuring delivery against their strategic and tactical goals for benefits regionally or globally. We will count on you to:Manage a number of client relationships and provide advice with regards to global insured benefitsOversee the implementation and ongoing management of GBM appointments and maintain client satisfaction, ensuring key activities are completed and internal / external parties are alignedWork proactively and closely with all members of the client team to influence delivery and ensure that commitments to the client are met, fostering a culture of shared responsibility and ownershipLiaise directly with senior-level Global Client Managers, as the lead global contact for client deliverables required under the Global Benefits Management appointmentSupport with the execution of the client’s global benefit strategy, including things such as benefit harmonization, minimum standards or global benefit financingOversee the coordination of local in-country colleagues in their role of local specialist/brokers.Support clients to monitor their employee benefit programs around the world, providing regular reports and updates, to making sure global governance processes are being followedStay up to date with changes in international employee benefit trends and issues, monitor market developments and consult with clients on these mattersProactively look for opportunities grow client revenue as well as supporting with new business development opportunitiesWhat you need to have:Proven consulting, client management or broking experience, preferably gained from a similar role in a large complex, global organisationPrevious experience in the Insurance, Financial Services or Employee Benefits sectors, working with multinationalsA client focused mindset, with relevant client facing experienceAbility to consult, analyse and communicate on insured employee benefit related productsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detailExperience in simultaneously managing multiple projects/tasks and have an organised approach, with the ability to prioritize, drive them to conclusionResults-orientated, accustomed at setting high standards and working in a demanding environmentBe a self-starter, fast learner, with the ability to work independently or as part of a teamWhat makes you stand out?Existing international benefits experience, with a working knowledge of international employee benefits (e.g. pension, risk benefits, medical).We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.#hybrid Mercer is a business of Marsh (NYSE: MRSH), a global leader in risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting, advising clients in 130 countries.
