Why this role matters
Our clients need more than insurance—they need a trusted advisor who can help them understand risk, make confident decisions and build resilience. In this role, you’ll set the tone for how we show up: commercially sharp, deeply client-focused and relentlessly committed to doing the right thing. Lead and develop a team where coaching, accountability and progression are the norm. Influence strategy locally—partnering with leaders to drive growth, retention and recruitment. What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrable leadership experience (formal or informal) with a coaching-led approach and a focus on developing others.
- Strong account handling experience with medium to large UK corporate and/or global accounts.
- A consultative mindset—able to translate risk issues into clear options, recommendations and actions for clients.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise competing demands and keep service delivery on track.
- Clear, confident communication and the resilience to stay calm under pressure.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and comfort using data to improve outcomes.
- A genuine commitment to building a positive, inclusive team environment where colleagues can do their best work.
What will set you apart:
- ACII (or equivalent) qualified—or actively working towards it.
- A track record of building engaged teams and developing future talent through structured coaching and feedback.
- Credibility in the market: strong insurer relationships and the confidence to negotiate outcomes for clients.
- Curiosity and innovation—bringing ideas that improve client experience, operational efficiency and colleague development.
