We are seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial Consulting team at Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB). This role will be based in our Manchester offices. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong client service and sales background looking to continue their career with a world-leading professional services company.

We will count on you to:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, develop and maintain strong relationships, acting as their trusted advisor and providing expert guidance on employee benefits solutions based on their specific needs.
  • Oversee the renewal and review process, conducting comprehensive reviews of existing benefits packages to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with insurance partners to negotiate favourable terms and conditions for clients.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your own portfolio.
  • Work closely with other areas of the business to source leads and generate new business.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the wide range of products offered, including group risk, healthcare, and various wellbeing and client support options.

What you need to have:

  • Previous client service and sales experience within a professional office setting, with a track record of meeting and exceeding key performance indicators.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, experience in managing client expectations, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Proven ability to work independently, and as a team player, establishing good rapport with both clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent time management and planning/organisational skills, ability to work independently on your own portfolio of clients.
