Key Responsibilities
- Providing advice and support on a wide range of legal issues and projects to the OW businesses across Europe.
- Handling the review, drafting and negotiation of a variety of commercial contracts and other legal documents related to OW's global professional services businesses, including engagement letters, client agreements, subcontracts, third-party release/reliance letters etc.
- Advising OW consultants and corporate support functions on legal issues generally, including the legal/contractual implications of commercial business decisions.
- Identifying liability exposure and providing creative solutions to manage and reduce risk.
- Coordinating specialty legal review by internal and external legal advisers on a range of matters.
- Assisting with all matters related to legal support of the OW businesses, including compliance and risk mitigation processes.
About You
- UK-qualified lawyer with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience.
- Experience at a leading international law firm within a commercial or corporate team; in-house experience is highly advantageous.
- Essential experience with commercial contract review, drafting and negotiation.
- Fluent in English; fluency in other European languages beneficial.
- Self-starter able to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines and changing priorities.
- Strong communication and drafting skills, ability to interface with senior management, good judgment, commercially minded.
