This role is responsible for creating and executing integrated always-on marketing across all delivery channels for Marsh’s Wealth practice, which includes Pensions and Retirement Consulting and Investment Consulting. Reporting to the Marsh UK CMO, you will lead the Wealth marketing team (5 direct reports) and collaborate with the wider Marsh marketing organization to deliver performance-driven campaigns that generate tangible ROI and support commercial success.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of fit-for-purpose marketing programs that align with UK business and commercial objectives.
- Work closely with Wealth stakeholders to understand customer needs and translate insights into compelling campaigns.
- Build and deploy marketing propositions to position Mercer's Wealth business in key market segments, generating leads and sales.
- Collaborate with the Digital Centre of Excellence to leverage digital marketing, enhance user experience, and drive lead generation.
- Manage brand activation activities across web, social, and PR, ensuring consistency and compliance with Marsh policies.
- Drive performance excellence by sharing best practices, ensuring integrated delivery, and maintaining consistency across all wealth-related practice areas.
- Engage internal stakeholders to create advocates, amplify campaign activity, and support commercial success.
- Provide sales and consultant teams with enablement assets and ensure lead nurture is captured in the CRM system (MPower).
- Monitor budget progress, communicate spend to the CMO, and uphold marketing compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage a team of 5 direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Adhere to the hybrid working arrangement, ensuring at least three days per week in the London office.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in a corporate, matrixed marketing environment across all disciplines and delivery channels.
- Proven track record in digital marketing, analytics, and demonstrating ROI.
- Marketing experience within financial services, ideally pensions consulting, insurance, or a related sector.
- Strong background in building B2B brands and delivering integrated campaigns.
- Excellent stakeholder-management, influencing, and negotiation skills at senior executive levels.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication ability.
- Strong project-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Team-oriented, highly motivated self-starter with a collaborative mindset.
- Flexible approach, thriving on change and innovation, while maintaining attention to detail and structured thinking.
