We have an exciting opportunity at Marsh Commercial to recruit a Client Advisor for our Enterprise Centre of Excellence. The role involves servicing both new and existing clients with a range of commercial insurance products.
Successful candidates will receive a first‑class induction and the opportunity to attain chartered insurance qualifications. After initial training, you will manage a dedicated portfolio of clients, including renewals, invoicing, new quote production, upselling and cross‑selling additional products, and handling any queries that arise.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent client service and ensure client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
- Ensure timely completion of all set tasks to maintain client satisfaction.
- Demonstrate adaptability skills when required to support colleagues in completing business critical tasks.
- Develop meaningful working relationships with insurer partners through regular contact and liaison to better serve clients.
- Generate new quotes, manage renewals, take invoices and upsell or cross‑sell additional products.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all major insurance classes offered, and stay abreast of new technical and product developments through training, coaching and mentoring.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in insurance, customer service or administration.
- Strong literacy, numeracy, admin and communication skills, evidenced by qualifications or grades.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work flexibly when required.
- Excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite and similar products.

Location & Working arrangement
The role is based in Exeter or Cardiff and is hybrid, with a requirement to work in the office at least four days a week. Marsh supports flexible working arrangements, including remote work, while ensuring that office teams meet at least one “anchor day” per week.
