Due to our Herds man who has been with us for some time and is now moving on due to relocation for family reasons.

We have a position for a Herds Person

Based between Wem and Shawbury/Hodnet in North Shropshire

We are seeking an Herd Person to work alongside our herds manager as part of a 5 person team.

Modern, progressive dairy unit, milking 400 Holstein cows, twice a day. We are a well invested business with modern farm buildings, parlour and machinery,

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an excellent work ethic with thirst for knowledge, high levels of dairy hygiene with a good attention to detail to achieve excellent milk quality,

Excellent salary.

Foot trimming and AI qualifications would be advantageous but training can be provided.

Accommodation can be provided if required.

Unfortunately at this time we can not offer this position to overseas candidates who have no full working visas.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £123,456.00 per year
