Our client, a global well-known business with a highly regarded in-house legal function, is seeking a 2-4 PQE Solicitor to join its Group Legal team. Sitting within a lean and collaborative disputes function, this role offers exposure to high-profile litigation and strategic advisory work across a range of jurisdictions.
The role involves supporting group-wide litigation and regulatory matters, professional indemnity and D&O insurance issues, name protection, and contentious trademark matters. It’s an excellent opportunity for a commercially-minded litigator looking to move in-house and work closely with senior stakeholders and external counsel on complex, cross-border issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the management and reporting of litigation matters across multiple jurisdictions
- Liaise with external counsel and internal business stakeholders on active disputes
- Work with insurers on professional indemnity and D&O matters, including policy wording and renewals
- Support the management and enforcement of the Group’s trademark portfolio and name protection strategy
- Assist with contentious and non-contentious IP issues, including trademark infringement and brand protection
- Provide strategic legal advice on a wide range of contentious issues impacting the business
- Assist with data subject access requests and litigation disclosure processes, including document review and e-discovery support
About You:
- You are a qualified solicitor with 2–4 years’ PQE, ideally with experience in commercial litigation and/or dispute resolution
- You have strong drafting and written communication skills, and are confident managing complex legal issues with commercial awareness
- You are detail-oriented, well-organised, and comfortable handling a diverse workload under time pressure
- You are a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
- You bring sound judgment and a proactive, solutions-focused approach to contentious matters
