Interim Legal Counsel in Slough

We are recruiting an Interim Legal Counsel to join a global consulting firm on an initial six‑month contract, starting ASAP, with the potential to extend. The role is Central London–based with hybrid working (three days in the office and two days remote) and offers a competitive day rate (inside IR35).

This is a broad commercial role, ideally suited to a candidate with strong experience across commercial contracts, technology and data privacy.

Working as part of a busy in‑house legal team, responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, professional services agreements, MSAs, supplier and vendor contracts, and letters of engagement, as well as technology‑related work (including AI and SaaS)
• Assisting with major corporate transactions, including global strategic projects and M&A activity
• Advising on employment matters, including settlement agreements and employee‑related issues
• Supporting on data privacy matters, including DSARs, investigations and regulatory compliance
• Collaborating closely with the wider legal and compliance team on BAU and project‑based work

You will be at least 2 years’ PQE (as a guide), with experience gained in a well‑regarded corporate/commercial private practice or in‑house environment. Strong drafting skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced team are essential.
