I’m working with a leading international professional services organisation on an exciting Senior Privacy Lawyer hire. This is a genuinely interesting in-house privacy role sitting at the heart of the organisation, working closely with the Global DPO and senior privacy leadership, and acting as a trusted advisor to both legal and non-legal stakeholders across the business. It’s not a narrow policy role. This is hands-on, operational privacy work with real exposure to live issues, complex projects and senior decision-making.

What the role looks like in practice:

  • Advising on global data protection obligations across the UK, EU and other jurisdictions
  • Supporting operational privacy workstreams including DSARs, data incidents and DPIAs
  • Reviewing and negotiating data protection and data transfer agreements (including SCCs and TIAs)
  • Partnering with internal legal teams to support client-facing and internal privacy issues
  • Supporting the delivery of firm-wide AI related privacy projects, privacy compliance projects, training and templates
  • Staying close to regulatory and market developments in privacy, cyber and emerging technology
