A leading global business is seeking a Senior Employment Counsel to join their business. You will sit across a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and HR teams on complex legal issues in the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide practical legal advice to senior leadership, HR, and operational teams on a wide spectrum of employment law matters, both in the UK and globally.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures across various jurisdictions.
  • Advise on TUPE implications for outsourcing projects, restructuring, and international expansion.
  • Support senior leaders in handling employee relations matters, including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Lead and collaborate on employment law aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and due diligence.
  • Deliver training to HR business partners and managers on key employment law issues.
  • Stay informed on legislative and regulatory changes and their impact on the business.
  • Manage relationships with external counsel and drive cost-effective legal solutions.

About You:

  • You have 6+ years of post-qualification experience in employment law, ideally gained in-house or within a leading law firm.
  • You have a strong understanding of both UK and international employment law.
  • You are a practical, solution-oriented lawyer with a proven track record of working with senior business leaders.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable handling complex legal issues across multiple jurisdictions.
