We are working with a leading global professional services client on a senior in-house disputes role within their internal legal / risk function. This is a contentious, risk-driven role rather than pure regulatory disputes. It plays a critical internal escalation and risk-management function, supporting fee earners across the firm and reducing reliance on external counsel.

The role:

  • Lead non-regulatory disputes and commercial contentious matters
  • Handle financial services exposure and internal escalations
  • Oversee professional indemnity-related matters
  • Support fee earners on risk-sensitive and contentious issues
  • Engage with regulators including the SRA where required
  • Drive early issue identification and resolution
  • Operate cross-border on international matters
  • Providing strategic input on legal and ethical risks associated with Generative AI and contributing to the design of firm-wide governance and controls.
