In House Counsel - Commercial and Insolvency Litigation – Litigation Funder - London
Our client is a litigation investment company that purchases and funds litigation and arbitration claims. This is a rare and unique opportunity for a litigator to join this prestigious team in their London office and be part of this busy and dynamic team who handle around 140 claims with a gross value of just under £1.4bn.
You will be an ambitious commercial litigator with 1-4 years pqe and be looking to step outside of private practice sector to join this growing London team. This is your opportunity for a fulfilling and challenging alternative legal career in-house.
As several of the claims are held by insolvency practitioners, experience of insolvency litigation matters would be a bonus, although not essential. Other claims often involve breach of contract, professional negligence, insurance, construction and company/shareholder disputes.
You will be joining an experienced team of professionals (lawyers and accountants) who specialise in the business of purchasing litigation and arbitration claims from companies and individuals. You may be assessing new claims; managing cases with the assistance of external counsel; attending client meetings, court hearings and mediations; and BD networking.
You will be offered a competitive in-house salary, benefits and remote working options (3 days in the office).
