Global industry leader in the mining and energy sector is looking for a Legal Counsel to join their team on an initial contract basis with potential to go permanent. Hybrid working, central London location.

You will have a broad remit of responsibilities supporting their mining operations including:

  • Commercial contract drafting and negotiation including operational and project related agreements
  • Corporate and finance support on transactions
  • Working closely with the procurement and construction teams
  • Providing legal and commercial advice
  • Advising on litigation, risk management and general legal matters
  • Instructing external counsel when required

You will be 2+ years PQE as a guide preferably with training and experience gained in a mining and energy team in private practice. Relevant in-house experience in a similar environment would be advantageous.
