Unique opportunity to join the Office of the General Counsel at a top tier international law firm on a 12 month FTC basis to cover for a period of maternity leave. Hybrid 3 days/week in the office. Option for part time, 4 days/week.
This opportunity could suit a lawyer coming from a background in employment, corporate reorganisations, tax, governance or regulatory looking for a move from fee earning.
As part of the firm's in-house legal team you will be responsible for:
- Working with the firm's Partnership Affairs team, advising on firm structure, partner arrangements and related documentation
- Advising on legal risks and compliance
- Preparing legal advice to management on operational matters affecting the firm
- Responding to queries from the Partners
- Supporting the firm's insurance renewal process
- Project based work
- Liaising extensively with senior stakeholders across the firm, Partners and senior members of the operational team
To be considered for this role you will be 4+ years PQE as a guide, trained at a highly regarded firm, qualified in England & Wales. Strong technical legal knowledge coupled with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders is key to continued success in this role.
