An international organisation operating across technology‑led and digital services sectors is seeking an employment lawyer to join its legal function on an interim basis. The role involves providing practical, commercially focused employment law support across the UK and selected international markets, working closely with HR and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on a broad range of employment law matters, including terminations, employee relations, working time and health and safety.
- Provide day to day UK employment law support and assist on cross‑border matters where required.
- Draft, review and update employment contracts, policies and employee documentation.
- Support the business in understanding local employment law considerations in new or evolving markets.
- Assist with employment aspects of corporate transactions and organisational change initiatives.
- Carry out legal research and manage external advisers as appropriate.
- Monitor legal developments and provide clear, pragmatic guidance to the business.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (other European qualifications considered).
- 2 years + PQE, gained in‑house or in private practice.
- Solid employment law experience across advisory, contentious and project‑based matters.
- Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable working independently.
- Able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic working environment.
