We are partnering with a global FMCG business seeking interim legal support for 3–6 months. In this role, you will work closely with the UK and European business, advising across a broad range of commercial, advertising, and marketing matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on marketing campaigns and promotions, ensuring compliance with advertising regulations, with a particular focus on product packaging, artwork approvals, and sign-off processes.
  • Providing legal guidance on labelling requirements and packaged goods regulations.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a broad range of commercial agreements, including procurement and supply chain contracts.
  • Delivering practical legal advice to agencies, as well as scientific and regulatory teams.
  • Creating a practical rulebook to guide the adoption of new AI tools, helping to improve efficiency and consistency across the business.

This role would suit a commercial/marketing lawyer with experience in the FMCG sector (or a similarly fast-paced consumer environment), with a strong understanding of labelling processes, regulatory requirements, and product packaging workflows. The position offers a hybrid or remote working model.
