A boutique firm servicing start-up and scale-up SMEs and VC-backed clients is looking for a Corporate Lawyer to join their team ideally from May on a permanent or temp to permanent basis. Australian and NZ Lawyers with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
Acting as an extension of the legal team for their clients, often working directly with Founders and CEOs, you will hold a broad role covering:
- supporting on corporate transactions
- drafting and negotiating related documentation and due diligence
- drafting various commercial contracts such as technology, vendor and software licensing agreements, service contracts and terms of business
- advising on data privacy and GDPR matters
- IP matters
- providing advice on employment law
- general legal support as required
To be considered for this opportunity you will be 3+ years PQE as a guide, ideally with experience gained as an in-house lawyer within a scale-up environment. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, working with c-suite stakeholders and founders with a commercial and pragmatic approach.
