We’re currently working with a well-known consumer brand to hire an interim Commercial Lawyer to join the team on an urgent basis.
Start: ASAP (next 2–3 weeks)
Duration: Initial 3 months potential to extend
Working: Remote or hybrid (London)
Day rate
This requirement has arisen due to unexpected team absence, alongside a major project, so they are looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and advising on website policies and customer-facing communications.
- Assessing and validating data being shared with third-party platforms (e.g. identifying personal/sensitive data and ensuring compliance).
- Supporting on general commercial contracts and BAU matters.
- Working alongside external counsel where needed.
About You
- UK qualified lawyer.
- Strong commercial contracts experience.
- Comfortable working autonomously and spotting legal and compliance risks.
- Experience within FMCG / consumer / retail environments highly desirable.
- Exposure to data protection/privacy matters.
