A leading global financial institution is seeking a talented Employment Lawyer (around 5 PQE) to join its London-based Litigation & Employment team. This is a high-impact, advisory-focused role supporting HR and the business across the UK and wider EMEA region (22+ jurisdictions).

The Role

  • You will advise on the full range of UK and EMEA employment matters, including both contentious and non-contentious work. This includes:
  • Employee relations issues (grievances, performance, disciplinaries, flexible working, redundancies, DSARs, settlement agreements, ACAS early conciliation, Tribunal matters).
  • TUPE activity, acquisitions, integrations, outsourcing/insourcing and mobility-related queries.
  • Support on employment aspects of business and regulatory projects across EMEA.
  • Advising HR teams on contracts, restrictive covenants, compensation, benefits and remuneration regulations.
  • Input into global and local HR policies and regulatory personnel requirements.
  • Liaison with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.

About You

  • We’re looking for someone who is:
  • A qualified lawyer with strong employment law experience (private practice or in-house).
  • Comfortable handling a busy, varied workload with growing autonomy.
  • Commercial, pragmatic and confident advising senior stakeholders.
  • Able to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative, clear in communication and keen to build strong internal relationships.
