We have been instructed on an exclusive basis for a Senior Contract Manager to join a major organisation operating in a complex, project-led environment. This is a senior commercial role, supporting high-value bids and projects, with responsibility for shaping commercial strategy, managing contractual risk and opportunity, leading customer negotiations, and supporting the resolution of complex contractual issues and disputes.

The role would suit someone with strong experience in complex contracts, ideally including NEC, who is comfortable operating with autonomy and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across legal, commercial, project management, engineering, bids and project controls.

  • Leading commercial strategy across major bids and/or projects
  • Managing contractual risk, opportunity and change control
  • Managing contract notices, claims, compensation events and early warnings
  • Advising senior stakeholders on contractual position, risk and dispute strategy
  • Driving best practice across commercial processes, record keeping and contract compliance

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in contract or commercial management within a complex project environment, strong stakeholder management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to represent the business in senior-level discussions.
