We are working with a people centric cultured US-headquartered consultancy that’s scaling its European operations, particularly within its consultancy arm. This is an Assistant General Counsel role based near the City (3 days in the office / 2 from home), with significant autonomy and visibility. You’ll be the most senior lawyer on the ground in the UK, working closely with a US-based legal leadership team and partnering heavily with the business.
The role will involve:
- Advising across UK, US and EU legal matters
- Acting as a trusted legal partner to commercial teams with lots of day-to-day business interaction
- Drafting and negotiating complex commercial and consultancy agreements
- Managing cross-border risk and external counsel
- Strong exposure to UK & EU data privacy, with increasing focus on AI-related issues
- Litigation experience seen as a real advantage
