Our client, a well-known global organisation, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with 6 years experience in Commercial Digital and Technology to join their high-performing, collaborative in-house legal team.
This is a strategic role advising on complex digital, data, and technology matters across a multinational business undergoing ambitious transformation.
You will be at the forefront of advising on cutting-edge technologies, from cloud platforms and AI to automation tools and digital infrastructure, while ensuring compliance with an evolving regulatory landscape.
Your key Responsibilities will be to:
- Advise on complex, cross-border technology contracts including SaaS, software licensing, outsourcing, and digital procurement agreements.
- Support digital innovation initiatives, including AI implementation and automation, ensuring alignment with emerging legal and regulatory standards.
- Guide stakeholders on regulatory frameworks such as the EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing, DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act), GDPR, and the EU AI Act.
- Partner with IT, procurement, and digital teams to manage legal risk in cloud adoption, information security, and third-party tech engagements.
- Contribute to internal policies on digital governance, AI ethics, and operational resilience.
- Deliver training on regulatory compliance, contract risks, and best practices for digital tools across business units.
- Monitor and interpret legal developments in the digital and technology space, advising senior leaders on potential business impacts.
About You:
- You have 6+ years of post-qualification experience with a strong track record in digital, technology, and outsourcing law.
- You have experience navigating regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, DORA, the EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing, and the EU AI Act.
- You are confident negotiating high-value, multi-jurisdictional tech contracts and advising on complex legal risks in innovation projects.
- You combine technical legal skills with commercial awareness and clear communication.
- You are collaborative, responsive, and comfortable advising senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, international environment.
